Spina was a village in section 14 of Great Scott Township (T. 58N, R. 19W), was developed when W. J. Power secured controlling interest in the Kinney Mine in 1909; it was located at the Kinney Mine and had a Great Northern Railway station.
The area is now part of neighboring Kinney, MN.
