  yes..having lived in this area over 40 years, I too have seen some changes..not all welcome ones! Still....the sun rises in the east, and sets in the west- it gets cold in the winter, and hot in the summer. In my youth I was lucky enuff to have played in a number of abandoned farmhouses in Overland Park and elsewhere.
