  In actuality this is Holiday Isle park, a public park donated on August 4th, 1958. It is managed by the Okaloosa Island Authority. Norriego Point is the area encompassing the eastern tip of Santa Rosa Island (where the Coast Guard station stands). The area of Destin was known as Moreno Point in the mid 1800's, with Destin noted on maps during the Civil War era.

  Headed to destin for the weekend by boat from orange beach, just got word that noreaga point was closed to boats docking there. Any info would be helpful?
