For some years round 1969 this village and the extensive ruins of the nearby Sultan's palace were populated by Hippies from USA and Europe with famous guests as Jimi Hendrix. Because of a murder as a result of the drug trafficking, the moroccan army disolved the "Commune of the Blissfull"
