Bird ringing station operates during Spring and Autumn bird migrations with a break through mid-summer. Station opened in 1998.

In Neringa in 2 Lithuanian bird ringing stations combined it is caught 10-15 thousands birds (~80 species) every year. One more Bird ringing station in Curonian spit is in Rybachy (Russia)
