A friendly atmosphere surrounds this quaint country pub. The appearance from the outside is a picture with it's `mud and stud` structure and it's thatched roof (hence it's nick name - "The Thatch". On entering, you will not be disappointed. The staff are welcoming and the locals are interesting. Fine ales from this Bateman's public house are a treat for the conesuere.
