Lake City High School is an award winning educational institution that is presently an Exemplary High School in the State of Idaho, one of only six in the entire state. This designation is only awarded to schools that exceed all accreditation standards and who exhibit exemplary programs.

Our curriculum combines high academic standards and an A/B rollover block schedule which allows flexibility and a wide range of offerings for students. We also have an activities program that has twice been named, in the last three years, All Sports Award School for our region in our conference. Our music and drama programs are exemplary, and Sandra Seaton, our drama instructor presently serves as the State Director of Idaho Educational Theatre Association.
