The hospital was completely rebuilt and opened 4 April 2018 on the site of the former hospital, which was significantly damaged during the battle for Tal Tamer town in 2015.
The hospital was named after the martyr Lêgerîn whose true name is Alina Sanchez, from Argentinean origin, who, according to various data, either died in an road accident in the city of Hasaka or was martyred in Afrin canton during" Resistance of the Age" 17 March, 2018.
