San Jose is a municipality in the landlocked province of Tarlac in the Philippines. As of the 2010 Census, it had a population of 33,960 people. The town is situated at the mid-western tip of the province.

It was created into a municipality pursuant to RA 6842; ratified on April 21, 1990; taken from then municipality of Tarlac.

San Jose is politically subdivided into 13 barangays:
