Evangelical Protestants built the New England style Mission Church during 1829 and 1830 to house the Presbyterian Congregation on Mackinac Island. Today visitors have the opportunity to visit this historic church when purchasing a Historic Downtown Mackinac or a Fort Mackinac admission ticket between mid-June and late August. The church is also used for weddings.
