Brief History

It is the oldest women and children hospital of Delhi, started in 1905 situated in the congested walled city of Delhi adjacent to The Jama Masjid and has progressively expanded from 10 beds in 1905 to 450 beds in 1975. It was previously called Victoria Janana Hospital and later renamed Kasturba Hospital in 1975.
