Current home of the 4th Air Transport Squadron - Carajá Squadron.
The Carajá Squadron operates the C-95 and C-95A "Bandeirante" airplanes in humanitary, aeromedical, logistics, MedEvac and cargo deployment missions.
It also supports missions involving the Brazilian Army (Exército Brasileiro), Brazilian Navy (Marinha do Brasil) and Federal Police (Polícia Federal).

Previously, the São Paulo AFB was the home of the following squadrons:

- 1st/10th Aviation Group - Poker Squadron (nowadays at Santa Maria AFB - RS)
- 2nd/10th Aviation Group - Pelicano Squadron (nowadays at Campo Grande AFB - MS)
