small typical italian town built on a ledge over looking agropontina, sources say height of town above sea level is 450m , and has about 3000 habitants, above Norma is the ancient town of Norba, nown only some ruins are to be seen, Norma also over looks the Oasis of Ninfa. Norma can be accessed by two roads one directly below Norma the main route which is 6KM in length or the less friendly route from Cori (anything larger than a small van will struggle through the first 3km of this road.
