Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), India was recently awarded with the prestigious “LEED Certified” rating for Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) by the U. S. Green Building Council for its environmentally-friendly design. BIEC is India’s first “LEED - Certified” Green Exhibition & Conference Facility.

BIEC is member of UFI and IAEE.

This multipurpose 34 acres beautifully landscaped complex has 40,000 sqm of covered column-less air-conditioned exhibition space (three exhibition halls), a multi-facility Conference Centre spread over 5,600 sqm including 4 conference halls, a Helipad, an Amphitheater, VIP Lounge, Food Court of 7500 sqm, a Machine Tool Training Centre and large outdoor area. It also has an infrastructure to distribute 11 MW of power supply.

BIEC is developed and managed by Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA), and dedicated to the memory of Late Mr. Naoroji Pirojsha Godrej, a former President of the Association. The complex is thus named as ‘IMTMA- Naoroji Pirojsha Godrej International Exhibition & Conference Centre.

Deutsche Messe AG- the owners of the world’s largest exhibition facility in Hannover, Germany,has a partnership arrangement, to promote BIEC globally.
