Completed in 1912, the village hall was built to accommodate village offices, a school, an assembly hall, bowling alley, and space for early firefighting equipment. Designed by resident Fred H. Briggs, the structure currently houses the Incorporated Village of Plandome offices, court, meeting rooms for various village clubs and groups, and the Plandome Fire Department (Est. 1913). The independent police force was disbanded in the 1970's. The second floor was expanded to the north in the 2000's.
