  • I recently received a package from Pasadena Tx, that was insured for $600 and it arrived damaged. I was advised to return the package to UPS for Claim Processing. Tracking Number1ZW1074Y0352958342 UPS refused to pay the claim and I filed a Disputed Claim with Pasadena Postal Plus, Lisa Baker. Today 10/02/2007 Ms. Baker let me know that UPS was still refusing to pay the claim. If the Package was accepted for shipping at Pasadena, TX, and Insurance was paid plus shipping. Then the Package returned to UPS, then UPS should be liable for any damage in transit. • Recently had an antique raido restored at Toms Antique Radio located in Dayton, Ohio. Upom completion of the project he advised he was shippng radio via UPS and it should arrive in two/three days. I then received an email from Tom advising some damaged occured with the radio and he received claim forms and wanted to know if I received the radio. I DID NOT RECEIVE THE RADIO and upon calling your agent he advised he could not tell me anything I would have to deal with the shipper. In speaking with Tom/Antique Radio Repair in Dayton, Ohio he advised UPS would be sending me $140 for the damaged radio, I paid $241.00 to have this radio repaired that was manufactured in 1946. He also said it would take two months to receive the damaged radio and he would try to repair base on the condition of the damage. THIS IS IN MY MIND STUPID TO HAVE TO WAIT TWO MONTHS TO RETURN A DAMAGE ITEM... Is this true? Perhaps you should reduce the amount of money you spend on the artist who promotes UPS and the great job you do on moving products to foreign countries, perhaps you should spend a little more money on improving the service in the USA. Frankly I do not expect to receive and response from UPS, but would like one. I can be reached at 501 837 1835, call me. Ron Sasfai Retired, and likes the old things that used to be made in the USA and not China.
  • Why would you expect to receive a response from UPS here? Are you some sort of moron who think UPS monitors Wikimapia?
