    shonbeel is one of the famous parmanent fishing place. The inhabitants of the surounding villages depend on fishing. It got a name in the Barak Valley's tourist centre. A watch tower is under construction in Debodwar village. Another tourist centre will be constructed within coming days. This beel is only 25 km away from NH 44 and regular transport facilities are available.
