Asansol Engineering College,a self financing institute, established in 1998 and is situated at Asansol which is situated close to West Bengal-Jharkhand border and about 200 Kms away from mega city of Kolkata. It offers BTech in various disciplines and is accredited to All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology , Kolkata.
VISION:
To provide pre-eminent educational experiences which are stimulating, responsive to needs of the century, and prepare our students for leadership in their profession and society. To develop technical manpower by arranging short term courses, workshops, seminar on regular basis. To create world class facilities and ambience for advance level of teaching and practical training for attracting best students from the country and abroad .greater emphasis on research and collaborative works with industries and other institutes. To improve efficiency and effectiveness of Institutional management of our Institute.
MISSION:
To create advanced facilities of teaching and practical training to the UG & PG students.To inculcate facilities in the arena of Research & Development.To develop technical manpower through interactive communication, training, short-term courses, seminars, group-discussions, mock-interviews, etc.To initiate collaborative real-life industrial projects with near-by industries and academic institutions.To initiate and execute community reach-out projects to cater to the under-privileged sections of the surrounding community in and around the College.To improve efficiency of Institutional management.

  • Completed my B.Tech from here.
  • In the year 2007 ( March )this Engineering College created a glorious history.In Campassing held in Kolkata,about 90 percent students got selected for job by very famous Corporates like TCS,WIPRO,COGNIZANT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS ( CTS ),INFOSYS and many more prestigious corporates.In 2008 its Students repeated the same performance again.A very good perfomance by the Brilliant students of this Engg. College.Congratulations Boys! Keep it up. Best wishes to all the students ( Young Engineers ).We need You.
