Khochi is known for the temple of Bhairavnath its an incarnation of Shiva, with his wife Jogeshvari by his side.The Temple was built 200 years ago (1680) by an inamdar of Chavre & then well developed in 1955 by Late Shamrao Dadasaheb Shinde-Patil in memories of his Father Late Dadasaheb Shinde-Patil.

  • This is village located at north boundry of district kolhapur , on bay of river warna,Most of the peoples are involved in agricultr,most of the land is well errigated, most of the peoples are involve in cultivating sugrecane , sugarcane is the measure crop of this village , Place having good educational progress with 2 nos of high schools and 2 nos primary schools , as and industrial development recent one sugar factory is installed under co operative sector and There is nice boom in textile reason , most of textile sector is diverting from mumbai to this reason , There is not mutch good political influence in khochi as village is still waiting for good leadership, Which causes lack of development in fundamental acpects like roads and good drinking water god gift khochi having good pollution free endless enviroment Regards Subhash Naik . At the yearly fair held in Chaitra or March-April, among a number of shasan kathis which parade the fair the place of honour is given to Sultanrav's Sasan Kathi. The fair is attended by about 1, 00,000 people’s. It’s Almost 35 Km away from Kolhapur & 22 km from Sangli.
