Blatna Castle is one of the rare privately-owned castles in Europe. The castle offers guided visits in English on season. The castle grounds are home to approximately 90 fallow deer, which can be fed in the summer with stale bread only.

The castle grounds include a large park which is always open to the public. Baroness Kornelie (Cornelia) Hildprandt is the landlady of the property.
