Metro Junction Mall is a shopping mall located in Kalyan, India. The mall was inaugurated in April 2008 and is the second largest mall built in India with an area of 750,000 square feet (70,000 m2)[1][2][3]. The structure comprises of a basement, a ground floor, and two floors above that which are still under construction and hence off limits to the visitors. Almost all of the stores have opened up for the general public. Level One of the Mall started commencing from August 2008. Some of the outlets include:

An open auditorium for the public has been setup on the first floor. The mall has multiple entry and exit points for better convenience to the customers. A spacious area has been setup in the basement for parking.

The mall includes a host of Outlets serving a wide range of products and services. The basement houses a clutter of Fast food restaurants that sell Popcorn, Pastries, Ice creams etc.A big attraction at Metro Junction Mall is Big Bazaar - A mall inside a mall that serves everything-under-one-roof. Nig Bazaar serves customers with products at reasonable rates, mainly FMCG which sell at almost wholesale rates. Other tents inside Big Bazaar include Furniture marts, Electronic show rooms, Cutlery's, Men's and Women's wear etc.

Metro Junction Mall is one of it's only kind in Thane and hence attracts people from Kalyan, Dombivali, Ulhasnagar, Ambernath and Badlapur area. The mall has a unique design and its one of the first mall in this part of the region and shows a decent crowd turn outs especially on weekends when huge trickle of customers are seen waiting outside the mall to be let in by the big bazaar staff.

It is located just 10 minutes away from Kalyan Railway Station via auto rickshaw (Fare: 7 INR/passenger). The mall provides the basic amenities like parking space for 500 cars, wash rooms, drinking water and security.

  • I am from Kalyan and normally I purchase the items from the Metro Mall Junction specially from Big-Bazar as it is little cheaper than other stores. But during commissioning time to six month the parking charges inside was free, then it was Rs.10/- and now it is Rs. 15/- from 16th July'14 for two wheeler. I think it is expensive for us as we go there just to save little amount but that we give back for parking charges. So the management should consider and take maximum Rs. 10/- for two wheeler parking charges.
