The Femous Bhagubai Niwas, the Pardeshi's (Kayastha's) started devoluping this place since 1876, and completed it in three phases. The Present Bhagubai Niwas, constructed by Shri. Madhavlal Pardeshi was finally completed in 1952.
In this building resides Goddess Durga of the Turewala's and has ancient history. Femously Known as Shri Turewala Panch Mandal it was center of many festivals during old days -namely till the 80's. Bhagubai Pardeshi was a Lady of Strong Will who lead the Turewala Panch Mandal to its full Glory. The rival Goddess of Turewala was Panchavatikars Halgiwala's Goddess Saptashrungi (Sandvyavarchi Devi) near Sardar Chowk. Turewala's Goddess belong to Old Nashik.
The Rahad on Ganga Ghat pray and devote Goddess Durga of the Turewala's and the Pardeshi's were the honour to lead the Rahad (Rangpanchami Function) and these days the Bele Family lead's the Rahad Function.
