village, community
This is a small village bordering the Papagayo River, one of Acapulco's many outlying 'colonias' - or neighborhoods - with about 2100 inhabitants.
At one time, a bridge connected Lomas de Chapultepec to the Oaxacan coastal road [Highway 200]; but it was destroyed in the mid-1970s when the river swelled during a hurricane.
