Larry Phillips, one of two bank robbers in the North Hollywood Shootout, had his AK-47 jam on him and he then proceeded to fire a 9mm Beretta pistol. It was soon shot from his grasp by the LAPD, and as Phillips picked up the gun, he put it underneath his chin and pulled the trigger.
