It was a tiny settlement where lived Germans in Hungary. ( After Turkish era very much Hungarian settlement became uninhabited, Habsburgs sent mostly German families to live in Hungary. The bigest national minority in Hungary is the German one.)
During second World War, on 16th of March in 1945 Russians killed every men in the settlement then they deported the women. A big memorial crucifix and the cemetery remind people of this event.
