Rourkela Railway Station, served by the South Eastern Railways, is on the Mumbai-Howrah main railway line. Ispat Express, Kalinga Utkal Express, Gitanjali Express, Tapaswini Express, Mumbai-Howrah Mail, Koraput-Howrah Express, Howrah-Ahmedabad Express, South Bihar Express and Azad Hind Express are the main trains that touch this station.
