A visit to the past A ride on the steam train from Goes through Kwadendamme to the scenic village of Hoedekenskerke will take you back to the past: the days of the railroads of the thirties. The railway of the steam train Goes-Borsele crosses the beautiful landscape of the province of Zeeland. Sitting on wooden benches in third class or on the luxurious pluche in first or second class you will enjoy a relaxed train ride in a nostalgic atmosphere. Please check the menu on the left side for detailed information about the time table and prices. However, Stoomtrein Goes-Borsele offers more than just a train ride! In Goes we are developing an open air museum about the Dutch Railways in the thirties. The museum area is open on scheduled days of the steam train. Near the stops in Kwadendamme and Hoedekenskerke you will find several attractions, such as a butterfly garden, manufacturing of original wooden shoes, a children`s train and an original village shop. For more information about the museum area and attractions please click on the name of the village
