A neighborhood in the eastern part of New York City's Borough of The Bronx. Approx. boundaries are formed by Northeast Corridor Rail tracks to the north and west, to the Hutchinson River Parkway to the east, to Waterbury Ave. to the south, to Castle Hill Avenue to the west.

The area is also known variously as "Westchester Square", especially in the vicinity of the area around Westchester Square at the intersection of Tremont & Westchester Avenues. Also as "Westchester Village" especially as respects the area to the west, leading towards Castle Hill Avenue.

Named after the formerly-independent town whose center was once located in the center of the modern neighborhood. The name for adjacent Westchester County was derived from this defunct town.
