Edited the title for clarity.
- Known in Syria locally as the Tabiya Gas Plant because it sits on top of the Tabiya Gas Field
- CSDGL was a company created to build the plant in 2000 (Conoco Syrian DEZ Gas, Ltd.)
- "CSDGL Integrated Gas Plant Project" was the name given to it after CSDGL won the contract from state-owned Syrian Gas Company.
- The five-year Build, Operate, Transfer contract was always intended to deliver the completed, operating plant to its Syrian Gas Co. owners, which it did in 2005.
- ConocoPhilips has no involvement with the plant today
- CSDGL was dissolved after the plant was transferred

2011 - under FSA control - taken by Khisham and Khat al-Jazeera battalions
2013 - under Al Nusra control
2014 - under Mujahedden Shura Council control (January-May)
2014 - under ISIS control; repaired & sold gas to Iraq; ISIS built detention center and used for executiions
2016 - US/Coalition airstrike destroyed plant operations buildings to cut off ISIS revenue 8 Mar 2016
2017 - Liberated by SDF 22 September 2017.
