Second World War 1939-1945, shelter, bunker, invisible
In the 19th century a small beer and ice cellar was built. Before world war II a large bunker complex was built into the soft shellbearing limestone. Built for 7000 people it was used as shelter for over 10000 people during the devastating attacks on 22. October 1943. After the war the bunker was closed an stayed relative unharmed until a illigal party in October 1992.
The bunker can be visited once a month by a guided tour organized by the fire department
