A runway bridge built over Interstate 285. During the Modernization plan, which included the resurfacing of Atlanta's other Runways, plans were set in place to construct 5th runway. The developers decided to construct a runway bridge right over the highway. It is perhaps the worlds strongest bridge, located near the landing point for arriving aircraft.
The bridge itself includes provisions for additional lanes of Interstate 285.
