Decaying, but still functioning. The outline is approximate, total area is 8 hectares. The base belongs to the Kvant institute. During its best times, the base was full with flowers; there have been an open cinema, a library and a canteen. The base (as many others) has been almost abandoned because of the Chernobyl disaster. Currently the cinema is totally decayed and filled with bushes, its stage dismounted. Decorative pools are empty and stones from their sidings are stolen. Anyway, some houses are functional and people still rest here.
