Former cataract Greben

For the fitting of a cataract on the waterways, with great waterfalls, the second danger after the Iron Gates, a channel was dug here by foot, over a length of 2,000 m with a depth of 2 m and a width of 60 m and 1,900 m still the same width were cleaned over the rocks at the bottom. The works were executed in 1893-1897.
