This place is in the south of Mauritius in a small village called Souillac. It is known for its spectacular rock cliffs and big waves. It is one of the rare beaches in Mauritius where it is not allowed to bathe. The French poet Robert Edward Hart built his 'coral house there'. The attached picture is taken from the cliffs commonly known as 'La Roche qui pleure'. the weeping rock.
