AKA Pulo Besin is part of 800 or so Islands of Myeik Archipelago of Union of Myanmar.
Myeik Archipelago has 800 or so virgin islands that are not spoil by human development and encroachment.

Three islands on the west of Kaw Thaung are grouped and called Salone Islands, the name Myanmar people called the Moken people or sea gypsy. Salone Kyunn Gyi Island, the biggest of the three in the middle, had a Buddhist temple on the hill top. This implies that there are not just Salone people on these islands.
