Recreational trail built on old rail road bridge that crosses Little Lake Butte Des Morts. It runs from Fritse Park in the town of Menasha on the west end to the Fox River Locks in the City of Menasha to the east. It is a beautiful bridge with great views and many people use it every day for walking, bicycling, fishing and dog walking.
Trestle bridge stretches 1600 ft over the Fox River. This lighted pedestrian bridge is the longest in Wisconsin and serves as a recreational link between the City and Town of Menasha. It is also part of Friendship Trail that will eventually run from Stevens Point to Manitowoc. The trail is open year-round for the public's enjoyment.
