Here is the filming location for the popular 1960's Television series - "Skippy the Bush Kangaroo". It was set in the fictional 'Waratah National Park'. It overlooks the very real Kuring-gai Chase National Park.

  • I am in my 70's and still enjoy all the skippy stories,
  • Canberra, Wagga Wagga and especially the Gold Coast are NOWHERE near the northern suburbs of Sydney. The only city closer than Sydney is Newcastle! WTF?
