Springfield is a city in Bay County, in the U.S. state of Florida. It borders the cities of Panama City to the west, Callaway to the east, and Parker to the South. Springfield incorporated in 1935.

Springfield's population was 8,810 at the 2000 census. It has a total area of 4.2 sq mi (10.7 sq km), of which 4 sq mi (10.3 sq km) is on land.

Springfield is the only municipality in Bay County which does not have a significant waterfront along either North Bay, East Bay, St. Andrews Bay, or the Gulf of Mexico. A portion of the city limits includes part of Lake Martin, which empties into St. Andrews Bay south of Springfield. Also to the south of the city is a paper mill, the odor from which is often detectable from Springfield and its neighboring municipalities.
