Caus Castle is located in the civil parish of Westbury in the English county of Shropshire.
The site featured an Iron-Age hillfort, succeeded by a Norman motte and bailey castle, refurbished multiple times from the late 12th century onwards. It was ruined during the English Civil War, in 1645, and not repaired subsequently.
It also the capital of a small but thriving micronation - the Sovereign Barony of Caux.
