Open Air Theatre famous for hosting legendary proshows-Shaan, M.G.Sreekumar, Balabhaskar, Euphoria, Silk Route and Parikrama have performed on earlier occasions.Last year, stunning performances by Karthik, The Raghu Dixit Projekt, and the rock band Whitenoiz, left indelible impressions on audiences.

Among the highlights of Ragam'09, were concert by, arguably India's best multi-lingual singer, Shankar Mahadevan, on March 27th.
The following night saw a scintillating performance by Breathe The Floyd, the UK-based band formed as a tribute to the legendary Pink Floyd. This was Breathe's second show in India.
Benny Dayal, one of the most familiar voices of south Indian music, kept audiences' feet tapping as he performed on the night of March 26th.

  • every ragam is "the best till the next". but ragam 09 was awesome... cant have a better one... shankar mahadevan+breathe floyd+benny dayal (beat that!!!!) the difference: Echoose me.. ethu collegilaaa, sms voting for choreo nite, 3 different T-shirts, an extremely 'sided' ragam convenor!!!, OAT.... saw lights n heard sounds.. it had ever before, live coverage of ragam on TV n much more....
