Also known as Blahovіshchenskyi Bazaar ('Annunciation Bazaar'), and also as short folk BlagBaz.
At the same time this is the historic district of Kharkiv.

In 1840 Bazaar has received the name due to standing nearby old Annunciation Church, and later in 1890 to the new Annunciation Cathedral ('Blahovіshchenskyi Sobor'), which is here till now.
