  Always owned by the Gillingham family (Gillingham Fish Co), this island has two summer homes built on it and a very crumbling and decaying fish dock complete with old buildings. The area or gap between the island the the tip of Sand Pt have seen its large share of summer drownings and fall drownings by duck hunters who misjudge the choppy and windy straits.
