  • If you're ever near Walled Lake, check out Lakeshore Park (on the south-west side). It's $5 for non-residents to get into and has a beach, two different playgrounds, a soccer field and mountain bike trails. There are also bathrooms (not port-a-potties) and water fountains. Fantastic place to kill a few hours.
