The area surrounding the pond is extensively
maintained as lawn with only a narrow strip of riparian
habitat in some locations at its edge.

-The open views,easy water access and lawn make the pond a popular
destination for geese and other waterfowl

No skating allowed. Signs surround pond with Toronto bylaw reference. What fun that used to be.

While there is fishing going on at the pond I recommend not eating them as water is pumped in from the highly urbanized Etobicoke Creek. A sign should be posted saying so.
