Alba Regia Folk Dance Group ( Alba Regia is the medieval Latin name of Székesfehérvár)was estabilished in 1949. Nowadays it is one of the highest quality groups within the catagory of the folk dance. In 1994 they have given a Europe Award for the Folk Art in Hamburg.
They dance in 12 different parties as there are 500 dancers from 5 to 60 years old.
Alba Regia Dance Group serve the art education in Hungary by their performances, publications, courses, dance houses, folk gaming rooms and by lending of national dresses, halls, specialized textbooks, sound and picture devices.
They are the hosts of the International Folk Dance Festival in the Székesfehérvár between 15th and 20th of August.
Even they offer accomodation for other dancers.
