Hajodo Lighthouse on the northeastern tip of Hajodo stands 12m/39ft high with a beacon that can be seen from as far as 39km/24mi away. There is a road and trail up to the lighthouse that provides an amazing view of Dadohae (Sea of Many Islands).

Hajodo Lighthouse is responsible for safely guiding ships passing through the Jangjuk waterway, the key route that connects the southern and western coasts. The waters passing between Hajodo Island and Jindo Island move very quickly, making this lighthouse play a very important part in maritime safety.
