Dr. E. S. Moss Hall (Roburn) (Williamsburg, Kentucky)

USA / Kentucky / Williamsburg / Williamsburg, Kentucky

Opened on January 7, 1889, Roburn Hall was the first building on the campus of Williamsburg Institute, later renamed Cumberland College and now University of the Cumberlands. Originally the classroom building, dining hall, and office facility, Roburn Hall has served the institute well over the years. As additional buildings were added, the Hall's functions varied. Today Roburn Hall provides a home away from home for 40 male students and houses the ROTC offices. Recently renovated, the three-story building boasts a computer laboratory, lounge with fireplace, and a beautiful circular oak stairway. The atmosphere is homey and inviting from the moment you enter the door. The room arrangements vary from one-person rooms to suites with up to four rooms, which accommodate two persons per room. Each suite has a commons area for lounging. The shower and toilet facilities are common to each floor.
