The Ruby Gatliff Archer Memorial Hall is a residence hall for women. It is located on Main Street, west of the Roberts Dining Hall. This residence hall, housing around 170 women, was first occupied in the fall of 1966. Since that time, Archer Hall has undergone extensive renovation in order to provide comfortable accommodations for its occupants. Generally a room houses two female students while the toilet and shower facilities are located off the common hallways. The lobby is comfortable and spacious and provides the perfect atmosphere for an evening of television, studying or visiting with friends.
