  kankartala is very poor place in bengal but the enviroment at kankartala is very good .there are one upper primary school and one colliary under ecl. the most popular pond at kankartala named bandi. at a time colliary was running but this days the colliary is closed.so many people are lose their service.people of kankartala are very truthful and honesty.
