  its a place with a rich historical background beyond the knowledge of most the people of ukhra and its neighbouring places.what not do we have in ukhra beautiful and holy temples,schools of all mediums, mineral resources,lakes,roadways,railway station,a cosmopolitan atmosphere,the jama masjid,the gurudwara and many more only to be mismanaged and misused by the people of the place themselves.the congested market place,the severe water scarcity,improper drainage and sweage system are testimonials to the selfishness,irresponsiblity and lack of farsightedness of the various authorities that have come to misgovern the place from time to time.shame! the time has come to ask from the authorities our right to live in a pollution free, properly maintained space with proper job facilities.a proper native of Ukhra will raise his voice against the corrupted authorities.its truly said "chaiin se sona hain to jag jao"
